Important note for those with ration cards in Andhra Pradesh. It is advised to complete the eKYC process by 31st of this month (March). Civil Supplies Commissioner Saurabh Gaur has issued a circular to all district collectors and civil supplies officers. ‘As per the orders of the Central Government and the Supreme Court’s verdict, the eKYC process has to be completed 100 percent. eKYC units are available in the logins of tehsildars, ration dealers, DSOs and collectors (civil supplies).
There is a facility to update eKYC through the mobile app of village and ward secretariats and e-POS devices in ration shops. The eKYC process of all beneficiaries, except children under the age of five, should be completed by the deadline. Otherwise, ration cardholders are likely to face difficulties in the future,’ he said.
All members of every ration card must undergo e-KYC. This process must be completed by the end of this month. If neglected, they will not receive the ration goods provided by the government as well as other welfare schemes. ‘Information about those who have not completed e-KYC in all districts across the state is available with the concerned Civil Supplies Deputy Tehsildars (CSDTs) and dealers. If the cardholders contact them, they will register the details online and complete the process,’ officials said.
“The government has provided the facility for ration card holders to complete the e-KYC process from anywhere. There is an opportunity to do e-KYC in the ration dealer, VRO, and tehsildar logins. Just go to the dealer and tell the card number… the details are entered in the e-POS machine… and the members of the card will be informed whether the e-KYC has been completed… or not. If any member has not completed it, they can register their Aadhaar details and update their fingerprints, and the process will be completed,” say officials. The process can also be completed through VROs at ration shops and secretariats. Therefore, those with ration cards are advised to do e-KYC immediately. All members aged between six and 60 whose names are on the rice card should complete the e-KYC process.

Step 2: Select the option Report –> MIS –> Ration Card / Rice Card Search based on the photo shown below.

RC Number . The rice card or ration card you are entering must be currently active. It is not possible to enter details of a non-active/deleted/surrendered ration card.

Step 4 : As shown below, if RC Status is Active , it means that AP Ration Card eKYC has been completed for that person or unit in AP Ration Card. If it is Inactive, it means that AP Ration Card eKYC has not been completed. Such people must go to their ration dealer and complete AP Ration Card eKYC in their login by entering biometrics. Only then will they be able to get ration through ration card.
