UIEAI said in a tweet that this Aadhaar app service can be used for Jeevan Praman, PDS, scholarship schemes, covid and farmer welfare schemes. Aadhaar holders can upload their Aadhaar numbers, other demographic and biometric data to a central identity data repository for face authentication. Aadhaar face authentication technology has been developed in-house by UIDAI and the Aadhaar FaceRD app captures a person’s face for Aadhaar authentication using face authentication technology, UIDAI said in a tweet.
