The Government of India provides subsidies to all beneficiaries in their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes. To be eligible for government schemes, benefits, and funds, a user must link his or her Aadhaar card to his or her bank account. Failure to do so may result in the loss of funds and benefits.
A user can link his or her Aadhaar to his or her bank account online, via SMS, mobile application, phone banking, or by visiting the nearest bank’s branch or ATM. Once the Aadhaar has been linked to the bank account, the user can check the status by visiting the UIDAI website.
1. Visit https://uidai.gov.in/ as shown below to check AADHAR linking status with Bank account.
2. Click on My Aadhar Tab
*Select “Check Aadhar Bank Linking Status
*Enter your 12 Digit UID Aadhar number.
*Type security code (captcha) as shown
*then select send OTP.
*You will get OTP on your registered mobile number which has linked with your Aadhar card.
3. Enter OTP proved on your registered mobile number then you will get details
of your Bank account linked with your Aadhar card.
Note*: If your Aadhar card is not link with your Bank Account, then visit your Bank Branch for Adhar linking with Bank Account. Also, verify after Bank’s procedure of Aadhar linking to verify.
