Natco Pharma Limited is a vertically integrated and R&D focused pharmaceutical company engaged in developing, manufacturing and marketing of finished dosage formulations (“FDF”) and active pharmaceutical ingredients (“APIs”). Our focus is primarily on niche therapeutic areas and complex products. We market and distribute our products in over 40 countries. We sell our FDF products in the United States, India, Europe and the rest of the world (“RoW”). We also operate in certain key geographies through our subsidiaries.We manufacture API products which are primarily used for captive consumption in our FDF products and are also sold to customers for various international markets such as Brazil, Europe and USA. In the API segment, we have capabilities to develop and manufacture products with multi-step synthesis, semi synthetic fusion technologies, high-potency APIs and peptides.

Vacancy Details

• Designation: Chemist / Officer / Executive
• Qualification : M.Sc (Organic Chemistry / Chemistry)
• Experience: 02 – 07 years
• Location: Hyderabad

Job Role:

1. Candidate should have R&D experience in Chemical development and Process Optimization with scale up or synthesis of drug

2. Should well versed with a few name reactions and their mechanisms

3. Synthetic experience to work from milligram to kilogram scale

4. Experience in Process development, optimization and scale up

5. Knowledge in isolation of compounds using chromatographic techniques

6. Basic knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word), chemical structure drawing

7. Good Oral and written communication skills

8. Technical support to plant team for addressing any OOS/Deviations.

9. Isolation and characterization of organic compounds with help of analytical techniques (TLC, HPLC, NMR, Mass, HRMS, GCMS, etc)

10. Through understanding of process chemistry, safety and scale up.

11. Develop and validate processes for cost reduction projects.

12. Develop novel/non-infringing routes for intermediates/API.
