Indian Space Research Organization / Department of Space Centers/Units are engaged in Research and Development activities in the realm of Space Application, Space Science and Technology for the benefit of society at large and for serving the nation by achieving self-reliance and developing capacity to design and build Launch Vehicles and Communication/Remote Sensing Satellites and thereafter launch them.
Education: BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering with an
aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA
Posts: Scientist/Engineer SC’ (Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science)
Age Limit: 28 years as on 16-09-2026. Serving Central Government civilian employees, Ex-servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
PwBD Certificate: Candidates applying for the post reserved for PwBD have to submit a self-attested
copy of Disability Certificate in the prescribed format at the time of Interview, clearly indicating the
percentage of disability, issued by Medical Board consisting of at least three (03) members out of
which one shall be a specialist in the particular field for assessing disability, duly constituted by
Central or a State Government. The definition of Disabilities are as specified in the schedule of the
Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
DEGREE OF DISABILITY FOR RESERVATION: Only such persons would be eligible for reservation in Services/Posts who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability. The standard Operating procedure for the eligibility is defined in the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) OM No. P-13013/95/2023-
UDID/IT/STATISTICS dated 15th October, 2025. Candidates are requested to get their manual
certificate(if any) digitized on UDID portal well within time for verification of the disability.
Application Fee: There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for all the posts. However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) as processing fee.
How to apply: The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO website
www.isro.gov.in between 27-08-2026 to 16-09-2026 at 11.55 PM . The candidates registered under
National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may apply duly following
the procedure stated. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will
be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future
reference. E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application correctly and compulsorily.
(Hall tickets / Call letters for written test /CBT and interview for those screened-in will be sent by email only). The last date for submitting on-line application is 16-09-2026
