Application Form Fee
- The SSC CHSL application fee is INR 100 for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates.
- There is no fee for female candidates of all categories, and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen categories.
- The application fee can be paid online through various methods like BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using a credit/ debit card.
SSC Recruitment 2025 Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025)
- The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 27 years as of the specified date in the official notification.
- For the 2025 exam, the date is likely August 1st, 2025. Candidates born not before August 2, 1998, and not later than August 1, 2007, are eligible to apply.
- Age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST, OBC, PwD, etc.
Salary
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).
- Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs. 29,200-92,300).
- Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100).
Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board.
- Candidates appearing in their 12th standard exams are also eligible to apply, but they must possess the required qualification by the cutoff date for document verification.
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), candidates must have passed 12th standard with Mathematics as a subject in the science stream.
