How To Register to Vote

Election commission of India offers online voter registration for Indian citizens who have attained the age of 18 on the qualifying date (1st of January of the year of revision of electoral roll). Citizen, can enroll himself/herself as General Voter and fill Form 6 online at National Voters’ Service Portal. Registered voters should also check their enrollment status

Visit https://electoralsearch.in/ to see if you are registered to vote. If your name appears in the list, you are eligible to vote, otherwise you need to register to vote. Visit https://voterportal.eci.gov.in/ for voter registration. Also, you can use Voter Helpline App to verify your name in Electoral Roll or register online.

Procedure To Download Digital Voter Id Card

1. First of all go to the official website of national voters service portal
2. The home page will open before you
3. On the homepage, you are required to click on login/register
4. Now if you are already registered on the portal you have to enter your login credentials and click on the login
5. If you are not registered on the portal then you have to first register on it and then log in
6. After that, you have to click on download e-EPIC
7. Now you are required to enter an EPIC number or form reference number
8. After that, you have to enter OTP sent on the registered mobile number (if the mobile number is registered with e roll)
9. Now you have to click on download e-EPIC
10. If your mobile number is not registered in e roll then you have to click on e KYC to complete KYC
11. Now you have to pass the face liveness verification
12. After that, you have to update your mobile number to complete KYC
13. After that, you have to click on download e-EPIC
14. By following this procedure you can download a digital voter ID card
