Established during the ‘Swadeshi Movement’ of India, Biological E. Limited (BE) started during a time when the nation sought access to critical healthcare products. Founded and led by Dr. DVK Raju, Biological E. Limited commenced its operations in 1953 as a biological products company manufacturing liver extracts and anti-coagulants. With an objective of transitioning from treating diseases to preventing them, Biological E. Limited launched its Biotechnology Division (now Vaccines and Biologics Division) and commenced large-scale production of DPT vaccines as early as 1962.

PRODUCTION FORMULATIONS (Injectables)

• Designation: Sr. Executive/Executive/Sr. Officer/Officer
• Qualification: M.Sc. (Lifesciences) / B. Pharmacy / Diploma / B.Sc. / ITI

Job Role:

• BLENDING: Ability to handle shift plans for formulation activities. Operate and maintain equipment like autoclave, blending vessels. Ability to handle and maintain equipment like autoclave, blending vessels, CIP and SIP skids.
• FILLING: Ability to handle shift plans for filling activities. Operate and maintain equipment like Vial washing, Tunnel Sterilizer, Filling and Capping.
• PACKING & LABELLING: Ability to handle shift plans for Vial labelling Machine & VVM dot Machines with Inspection system. Operation of Videojet and Control print Printer for Batch Coding. Operation of Track & Trace System, monitoring of Cold room and Deep freezers temperatures.

ENGINEERING (INJECTABLES)

• Designation: Sr. Executive/Executive/Sr. Officer/Officer
• Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma / ITI (Mechanical/Instrumentation/Fitter)

Job Role:

• Mechanical Maintenance: Ability to handle shift operations for Process Equipments like Bio reactors, WFI coolers, centrifuge, autoclaves, glassware washers, media & pooling vessels, TFF, -70 deep freezers, CIP/SIP systems, Bio safety cabinets, sealers, blending equipments, autoclaves, vail packing lines, auto cartonating, auto optical testing machine and CIP/SIP systems.
• Instrumentation Maintenance: Ability to handle shift operations for Instrumentation activities like BMS, Breakdown maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, AMC and Interim projects, Reviewing the completion of breakdown status / Calibration / PM works, Handling basic troubleshooting in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition).
• HVAC & Water System: Ability to handle shift operations for Operation and Maintenance of HVAC systems. Maintenance of Cold Rooms, Walk-In Incubators, Deep freezers, LAFUs, DPBs, GCs, Bio Safety Cabinets, Industrial Refrigerators, LSSU’s, Chillers, Hot water Generation Systems. Water flow rates, pressure, temperature and Rh, ensure energy optimization, monitoring of equipment spares.

QA – In Process (INJECTABLES)

• Designation: Sr. Executive/Executive
• Qualification: M. Pharmacy/M.Sc./ B. Pharmacy

Job Role:

In Process – QA (Injectables): Ability to handle shift operations for IPQA activities of fill finish lines which includes line clearance activities, dispensing activities, compliance of the documents and Process validation. To review executed batch production records, log books of blending and filling. Handling of investigations & Change controls.
