Established during the ‘Swadeshi Movement’ of India, Biological E. Limited (BE) started during a time when the nation sought access to critical healthcare products. Founded and led by Dr. DVK Raju, Biological E. Limited commenced its operations in 1953 as a biological products company manufacturing liver extracts and anti-coagulants. With an objective of transitioning from treating diseases to preventing them, Biological E. Limited launched its Biotechnology Division (now Vaccines and Biologics Division) and commenced large-scale production of DPT vaccines as early as 1962.

PRODUCTION – BIO-PROCESS:

• Designation: Jr. Executive/Officer
• Qualification: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology) / B. Tech (Biotechnology)/ B.Sc. (Science) who pass outs in 2023/2022/2021

Job Role:

Upstream & Downstream Process: To perform all unit operations / processes in the upstream & downstream manufacturing suite as per Standard Operating Procedure.

• To ensure availability of raw material during the production processes.
• To perform/supervise cleaning activities as per frequency in the process areas.
• To perform CIP &SIP of product vessels and transfer lines.
• To execute all the purification unit operations for cGMP and Safety.
• Wear all the safety measures are taken during handling the purification processes.
• Attend the shifts as per the shift schedule of A,B & C.
• To attain all the quality, safety related training as per the schedule.
• Document all the activities in the relevant BPR/GCR/Log books.
• Perform all the activities assigned by Shift in charge.
